Scaling Sustainability Workshop: From Green Teams to the C-Suite

April 27th and 29th, 9—11AM PT | Virtual (Zoom)

Are you wanting to increase your capacity as a leader to scale sustainability across your entire organization? Do you think your organization is ready to emerge as a sustainability leader, but is held back by legacy processes and structures? Feeling called to sustainability leadership is the first and vital step in visualizing the possibilities for your role in organizational transformation. The next step is to understand how you can scale your effectiveness and connections across the organization. This workshop will share evidence-based methodologies for building allies and coalitions, and tactical techniques for hosting more effective sustainability conversations with colleagues.

Research from Dr. Richard Boyatzis and others have proven that despite the best intentions, individuals don’t get very far in a change effort unless they have a group of people to support and to guide them in turn. You will join a group of other emerging sustainability leaders to:

  • Expand your personal toolkit for scaling sustainability at your organization

  • Visualize your organization and relationships from a networked perspective

  • Develop proven techniques for creating allies and internal coalitions

  • Build your confidence and capacity to guide and lead effective workplace sustainability conversations

Expect an experiential approach that includes personal embodiment and reflection, 1-1 and small group interactions, and custom tools and exercises to help you scale sustainability within your organization. Quote from our recent workshop

“Spending this time with other sustainability professionals, defining our values and commitments, both personally and professionally was an incredibly enriching experience. Sustainability work can feel lonely, and this has only been amplified during these trying times. The Solvable team did an excellent job creating a sense of community and generating collaboration amongst the participants. This workshop reminded me of why I do the work I do, re-invigorated my enthusiasm, and made me want to look for more ways I can continue to build on this experience.” — Sustainability Lead, Large Canadian Insurance Company
