Are you emerging into 2021 with a renewed sense of determination to have a significant climate impact? Many of us realize that in spite of the global pandemic, this year represents a critical opportunity to implement drastic changes in our organizations, communities, and lifestyles that positively impact our planet. Research from Dr. Richard Boyatzis and others have proven that despite the best intentions, individuals don’t get very far in a change effort unless they have a group of people to support and to guide them in turn.

You will join a group of other sustainability professionals to:

  • Identify new role(s) for yourself within your organization’s sustainability journey

  • Increase your resilience to overcome anticipated and unforeseen obstacles

  • (Re)design an integrated personal climate action plan for 2021

  • Reconnect with the vital relationships that sustain you, your organization, and the planet

Is this workshop for me?

At Solvable, we are convinced that each of us has the potential to bring about the change we want to see in the world. If you are a sustainability professional or if part of your job includes implementing your organization’s sustainability initiatives, this workshop is ideal for you. You will be joined by others who:

  • Want to deepen their commitment to mitigating climate change.

  • Desire to lead in creating a more sustainable planetary future.

  • Seek to further integrate their personal values into where they work.

  • Catalyze organizational change in collaboration with colleagues.

What should I expect from the experience?

The greatest possibilities within a group come from each participant openly contributing their gifts and being willing to embrace the contributions of others. Expect an experiential approach that includes personal embodiment and reflection, 1-1 and small group interactions, and provocative stimuli from the human and natural worlds. Optional resources and practices will be provided for further exploration outside of our time spent together.

Who is leading the workshop?

The workshop is being led by Climate Guides from Solvable, May Bartlett & Adam Lerner. Please reach out to either of us should you have any questions or email us at info@solvable.ca.
